| George Partridge; Chairman
George Partridge has been with National Bank
of Malawi since September 1994; his entry position
was Head of Treasury. Prior to this, he worked
in various capacities at the Reserve Bank of Malawi
for 11 years and his last position was at Director
level. In 1996 he rose to the position of Head
of Finance and Treasury at National Bank and was
promoted to be General Manager in 2002.In 2003
he was once again promoted to his current position
of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. George’s
other responsibilities apart from being Chairman
of Stockbrokers Malawi Limited include: Chairman
of PRIDE Malawi-a micro-financing organization,
Chairman of University of Malawi Department of
Economics Advisory Board, Director of National
Finance Co Ltd (a leasing subsidiary of National
Bank), Malawi Revenue Authority and Vanguard Life
Assurance Co. He has also recently been appointed
Chairman of the Bankers Association of Malawi.
George is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Certified Accountants, holds a first degree in
Economics and a Masters degree in Finance.
Mark Tunmer, BA LLB, LDM
Mark Tunmer has in excess of 18 years of advisory
experience and has personally been involved in
raising over USD450 million in Sub-Saharan capital
markets through overseeing numerous listings,
privatizations and rights issues on the regional
stock exchanges. In addition, Mark has advised
the Reserve Bank of Malawi on the establishment
of the Malawi Stock Exchange, the Botswana Government
on the establishment of the Botswana Stock Exchange
and the formation of the Botswana Stock Exchange
Act, Rules and Regulations and the Swaziland Government
on the establishment of the Swaziland Stock Exchange.
Mark has participated and continues to be actively
involved on various regional capital markets regulatory
and related bodies. He is currently the Chief
Executive Officer and director of Imara Holdings
Limited.
Isaac Nsamala
Isaac Nsamala is an associate of Chartered Institute
of Bankers (ACIB) and he also has a postgraduate
Diploma in Management studies. He is currently
the Chief Executive of National Bank of Malawi
since November 2003. Isaac has held various high-ranking
positions in the Bank: Deputy Chief Executive,
Head of Corporate Banking, Corporate Banking Manager,
Financial Controller and Company Secretary, Branch
Manager of Capital City Branch. He has also held
various appointments at both supervisory and management
level. He is also the Chairman of National Finance
Co Ltd, a leasing subsidiary of National Bank.
J. M. O’Neill
Sean O’Neill is a Chartered Accountant
and is currently an Executive Director of First
Merchant Bank Limited. He is a corporate finance
adviser with extensive experience in mergers and
acquisitions, corporate restructuring, privatisation
and parastatal reform and capital market development.
Sean has worked in Malawi for over 20 years and
has in addition carried out a significant number
of advisory mandates in other countries in the
SADC region. He was formerly a partner in the
Malawi office of the global accounting firm, Deloitte.
Sean is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in Ireland and a member and past chairman
of the Society of Accountants in Malawi.
Macfussy Michael Kawawa
Macfussy Kawawa holds a Bachelor of Accountancy
(Hons) Degree from the university of Zimbabwe.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified
Accountants (FCCA) and a Certified Public Accountant
(CPA). He is currently the Head Of Finance for
National Bank of Malawi, a position he has held
since December 2003.He has worked in the banking
industry (internal audit, finance and risk management)
for the past 10yrs.Before that Macfussy worked
in public accountants’ practice for 8 yrs.
He has previously held directorships in Malawi
Accountants Board (MAB) and The Institute of Internal
Auditors (IIA)
Armstrong Kamphoni
Armstrong Kamphoni, Chief Executive Officer,
is a seasoned certified accountant with a background
in the Malawi banking sector, parastatal organization
and the public accounting practice. He took over
from another reputed accountant. Professionals

Henderson Nyondo, Senior Dealer, a Bachelor of
